Berrington has been a centre of human activity for at least the last two thousand years and the presence and long-term survival of the Devil's Causeway Roman Road has been a key factor in its continuity of habitation. Recent investigations of written records, maps LiDAR and physical evidence has led to the most northerly sighting of the road to date. For those of you who missed his talk at the Devil's Causeway Day last year, this will give you the opportunity to catch up, but for those of you who did attend the Day, this is a chance to learn about the work that has been done in recent months.
